About the artist
Five years in New York City
From 1999 to 2004 Susannah had a studio and home in New York.
Although she regularly travelled back to England for painting
commissions, teaching appointments and exhibitions, and also travelled
internationally, she completed many portrait commissions in New York.
Her time in New York was a hallmark in her painting career where she
studied, taught, exhibited and continued to develop her work with the
ideas inspired by American artists and clients.
